Information
The school is a co-educational English medium residential and day school and caters to the present day global requirement. It aims at imparting education on modern scientific lines from Nursery to class XII. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi upto Senior Secondary level for all streams i.e. Science, Commerce, Humanities.
Admission Procedure
Registration forms are available at the school office and online at a cost of Rs.2000/-Two Thousand only. The registration form should be duly filled in and submitted on or before the due date as mentioned on the registration form along with the following document.
Admission Test & Interview
Entrance test is held on a specified date. Candidates are tested as under.
(a) Nursery: Interaction with children & parents.
(Please note - For admission to Nursery, minimum age required is 2.5 years , for lower K.G.
is 4 years and for Upper K.G. is 5 years )
(b) Class I to V: Test in Hindi, English & Maths
(c) Class VI to IX : Test in English, Maths, Science
(d) Class X & XII : Generally no admissions are made
(e) Class XI : Students of this school are not necessarily admitted to classes XI. Admissions
are based on marks obtained at the secondary examination and good conduct during the
period of study in the school. Generally those students who secure at least CGPA 6 / 60%
marks in each subject of their respective stream of study are admitted.
For students coming from other school: A much higher percentage of marks is required in order of merit depending upon the vacancies available after admitting the students of the school. They have to submit attested photocopies of the mark sheet and character certificate from the Principal of the institution of the last school attended. The students selected in the written test, appear for the interview with their parents as notified on the notice board.
Other Requirements
(a) Transfer Certificate (T.C.): No admission will be granted without a T.C. from a recognized institution which the applicant last attended, duly countersigned by a competent educational authority .
(b) Certificate of Character : The applicant must submit a character certificate from the school last attended.
(c) Date of Birth Certificate ( if not recorded in the T.C.)
(d) Migration Certificate : Applicable to the students from other boards seeking admission in class XI
(e) Passport Size Photographs
(f) Two copies of Mark sheet.
The School Year
The school year begins in April and ends in March next. For academic purpose there are three terms. The first term beginning in APRIL and ending in AUGUST, the second term from SEPTEMBER to NOVEMBER ending with Half Yearly Examination, the third term from DECEMBER to MARCH ending with FINAL EXAMINATION.
Co-Curricular Activities
For holistic development of students, special care is taken to provide outdoor activities, healthy avenues of recreation through excursions and educational tours , cultural and sports activities.Children are divided into four houses - Lakshmibai, Mirabai, Shankaracharya, Vivekanand. This fosters in them a spirit of healthy competition , true sportsmenship , comaraderie, accepting victories and defeats with same elan and provide avenues for channelizing their energy and abilities into positive direction.Children are sensitized to ecology and their environment through Eco-Club activities.
